We race $500 shitboxes in the 24 Hours Of Lemons. This blog is for our teams to document our mis-adventures.
One team is 'Snowspeeder Pilots Association' or 'Wookie Racing', and operated from Medford Oregon. Their '85 Toyota MR2 has survived two races now. On the team is my brother Joe, who is a very skilled asshole behind the wheel; Randall who has mechanical skill, equipment, a tool trailer that can hold a small car, and drives flawlessly. I (Larry) race with them occasionally to make sure the steering arms are adequately bent.
The other team operates from Salt Lake City. We don't have a name yet. We don't have a car yet. Paul is an off-road and restoration expert. Bryan has documented more mechanical procedures that he'd like to recall. Jordan "Eye-candy" is our spokes-model. Jared also has much mechanical experience. I contribute by lowering my neighborhood's curb appeal and parking an ugly car in my driveway, and by over-cooking corners.
